Knowledgeable About State and Local Regulations on Backflow Prevention

Each state, county, and city may have different regulations governing how backflow prevention systems are installed and inspected, and Treasure Valley Plumbing and Drain Service is prepared to handle those issues.

The State of Oregon requires all commercial and industrial entities on city water systems, as well as all residential homes on City water systems, to have a Backflow Prevention Device installed and inspected according to the regulations.

All devices MUST be tested annually.

Backflow Prevention Devices in Commercial Buildings

All Oregon commercial buildings using city water are required to have a backflow prevention device on their systems. This includes soda and pop machines. The backflow prevention devices are required to be tested by a Certified Backflow Technician, and Treasure Valley Plumbing and Drain Service is your Backflow testing specialist.

We can test up to six (6″) inch devices and can repair up to four (4″) inch devices on water systems in Oregon and Idaho.

Backflow Prevention Devices in Residential Buildings and Irrigation

All Oregon residences within city limits or connected to city water are required to have a Backflow Prevention Device on their irrigation systems and are required to be tested annually by a Certified Backflow technician.

We are licensed, bonded, and certified to take care of all of your Backflow needs, including installation, repair, replacement, and testing.
